John's family included Charles H. Malseed (1844) and Joseph (1852). 

After the Civil War, Charles settled in Harrisburg, PA.  He and wife, Margaret, are buried in Duncannon, PA.  Many living descendants are known.

Joseph lived in McKeesport, PA, and married Sarah Jane Pipes.  One living descendant is in contact with the webmaster.
