Will of Samuel Malseed of Tullybeg, Dated 1 Feb 1838 (or 1858), Filed 1883 Spelling and punctuation preserved. [Uncertain words in brackets.] Unknown words as [?] In the name of God Amen I Samuel Malseed of Tullybeg in the parish of Tully and County of Donegall being of sound mind and memory do hereby make this my last will and testament I bequeath my soul to God who gave it hoping and fully trusting in the merits and mediation of my redeemer Jesus Christ, I do hereby dispose of my worldly goods as follows, first I allow all my lawful debts to be paid out of my property Secondly I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Jane Malseed one hundred pounds Secondly I leave to my Daughter Sarah Malseed one hundred pounds provided each of them marries with the consent of my Executors, I leave to my beloved wife in case she cannot agree with my son John a cows grass and [fathered] in winter with thirty measures potatoes with three hundred wt. of meal yearly and the parlour of the Old house and one [dash] of [sunf] cut and [win] and brought home to her, and provided she is with child at my disease, if it is a son I allow my property to be divided betwixt them share and share alike with the exception of the state house which I allow to my son John, if it is a Daughter I allow her to get one hundred pounds provided she marries with the consent of my executors, and provided she has now child by [?] I allow the rest residue and remainder of what ever description to my son John, I do hereby nominate and appoint Jas. Hunter of the new mill William Crosbee junior of Ramelton and James Malseed of Tullybeg my Executors of this my last will and testament, In witness whereof I do hereby affix my hand and seal this 1st Day of February [1838] Eight [?]
